| Mission Statement The KY Foster/Adoptive Parent Training and Support Network is a partnership effort between parents and The Cabinet For Health and Family services to address the unique local and regional recruitment, retention and support needs of Cabinet families. To accomplish this, regional teams provide training in both group and one-on-one peer support settings. Activities of the teams include (but are not limited to): CONFIDENTIAL PEER SUPPORT RECRUITMENT OF NEW FAMILIES ADVOCATE FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN SUPPORT RESPITE PROGRAMS RETENTION OF CURRENT FAMILIES TRAINING WITH R&C STAFF ON POLICY AND PROCEDURES |

| Northern Bluegrass Region The Northern Bluegrass Region consist of 12 counties in the northern part of the state: Kenton, Campbell, Boone, Grant, Pendleton, Gallatin, Carroll, Owen, Scott, Harrison, Nicholas and Bourbon We have two Network teams that cover this area. |
